PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and ozone therapy are regenerative treatments that support your body’s natural healing process. PRP uses concentrated components from your own blood, while ozone enhances oxygen delivery and cellular activity—helping improve tissue repair in areas that haven’t responded to traditional care.

Joint pain (knees, shoulders, hips)
Tendon and ligament injuries
Chronic injuries
Persistent soft tissue injuries
These therapies are ideal for patients dealing with longer-standing issues who want to support healing without surgery or long-term reliance on medication. It's also great for post-operative recovery, for acute injuries, or as part of your chiropractic or spinal decompression care plan.

Treatment involves a brief procedure performed in-office. Depending on the area, PRP or ozone is applied directly to the tissue to stimulate a healing response. The doctor will perform a blood draw, and your blood is spun so the plasma can be isolated. Using a tiny gauge needle, the doctor will re-inject your concentrated plasma into the target area, and then flood the region with oxygen molecules (in the form of O3, or ozone). Ozone tricks the body into thinking there is new damage in the area, which restarts the healing process. The repair work begins in the presence of hyper-oxygenated tissue, creating a healthy, productive inflammatory response, rather than a chronic, reactive one.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Eat a light, healthy meal a couple hours before your visit and stay well hydrated. This helps with the blood draw and ensures the best possible treatment quality. If you've been sick or taken certain medications, we may need to reschedule your procedure.
Some discomfort is expected during and after treatment, (we call it "spicy air" for a reason!) but it is typically short-lived and part of the healing response. We encourage movement and the use of the region after treatment, so you should be fine to return to your usual activities.
No. Steroid injections are designed to reduce inflammation and can provide short-term relief, but they don’t support tissue healing. Some evidence shows they even lead to damage of cartilage and connective tissues as early as two injection. PRP and ozone therapies are regenerative—they use your own blood to stimulate your body’s natural healing response to improve tissue quality over time.
Yes. Anti-inflammatory medications (like ibuprofen or NSAIDs) should be avoided before and after treatment, as they can interfere with the healing response. We’ll give you specific timing based on your case.
If you’ve recently had a corticosteroid injection, you’ll need to let Dr. Cutler know, as you'll likely need to wait several weeks before starting PRP or ozone therapy.
Yes. PRP uses your own blood, which minimizes the risk of adverse reaction. Ozone is made entirely of medical-grade oxygen, which every cell in your body utilizes.
Most patients notice gradual improvement over several weeks as tissue healing progresses. The effects of PRP increase gradually and usually peak several weeks after your injection, but the benefits are felt weeks or even months after treatment.
Ozone can be used on its own to support healing by improving oxygen delivery and tissue environment. It can be performed more frequently if needed.
PRP is typically used more selectively, as it relies on your body’s own healing response and is spaced out accordingly. When PRP is performed, we include ozone at no additional charge to support the overall effect.
This depends on the condition and severity, but many patients benefit from a short series of treatments.
In some cases, it can be a non-surgical option to support healing before considering more invasive procedures.

30 Minutes
We review your history, confirm you’re a good candidate, and go over pre/post care. Hydrate well and eat a light meal beforehand to support an easy blood draw.

20-30 Minutes
A vials of blood are drawn, processed into PRP, and injected with ozone into the targeted area. Treatment is precise, controlled, and tailored to your condition.

Most patients feel fullness in the area—often described as “bubble wrap under the skin.” Mild soreness is normal. Avoid NSAIDs, icing, or heat, and keep the area moving lightly.

PRP works by stimulating your body’s healing response. Stay hydrated, avoid anti-inflammatories, and follow movement guidance. Ozone may be used between PRP sessions to support recovery.

Dr. Cutler is a performance-focused chiropractor with advanced training in regenerative therapies, including PRP and ozone.
